I love going to parks. It's one of my favorite things to do. I take the kids to parks at least once a week. I thought it would be a fun goal for me and the kids to try to visit every park in Denver. According to the Parks and Rec website there are over 200. Our plan is to go to every single one- tiny neighborhood parks and the larger city parks- and then rate them based on what we like in a park. It will give us an excuse to explore Denver and get some exercise.

West Woods Park
We went out for a drive one day last Fall and wound up in Arvada, so West Woods Park is an Arvada park, but it was still fun. It's a nice community park, that has rolling hills, a tennis court, and just lots of running around playing, picnicing, throwing a ball around, and, as you can see, teaching your daughter how to decide which pedal to press- the gas or the brake. It was a dreary day so not many people were out and it got colder as we were out, but even if cold, I think parks are still fun to explore. A little bad weather shouldn't deter us from getting outside, right!
