Bayaud Park looks like a tiny little park from the main street when you pass it but it's actually a really long strip of a park with a playground. It has one art sculpture but there's a sign that implies they will have more art put up. We would have given the park a 5/5 stars but Cainen pointed out that if you played with a ball it is a thinner strip of grass area so the ball could get kicked out into the street too easily. It does have a walking path around the entire park and the playground is pretty cool and has some unique equipment. It's near a library so we might actually come back here again.
I love going to parks. It's one of my favorite things to do. I take the kids to parks at least once a week. I thought it would be a fun goal for me and the kids to try to visit every park in Denver. According to the Parks and Rec website there are over 200. Our plan is to go to every single one- tiny neighborhood parks and the larger city parks- and then rate them based on what we like in a park. It will give us an excuse to explore Denver and get some exercise.
