I love going to parks. It's one of my favorite things to do. I take the kids to parks at least once a week. I thought it would be a fun goal for me and the kids to try to visit every park in Denver. According to the Parks and Rec website there are over 200. Our plan is to go to every single one- tiny neighborhood parks and the larger city parks- and then rate them based on what we like in a park. It will give us an excuse to explore Denver and get some exercise.

Westerly Creek Park
Westerly Creek Park is right across from Central Park, so we just walked down and across the street. I wanted to see the creek. We had a lot of fun at this park! We saw more snakes, a couple adults and a few baby snakes. We kept trying to spot them and in concentrating so much on spotting them we nearly ran into one. We also saw birds going crazy under this bridge. It seemed like they were nesting or feeding their young. I'm not sure, but they were flying around like mad and they actually pooped on Madison's phone. :) I would definitely come out here again, and apparently definitely in the summer months.
