We actually got lost and happened upon this park. It's a very tiny neighborhood park. It has two baby swings and a few climbing statues/structures. It's not large enough to walk laps or have enough of a grass area to really play sports. It seems built for very young children, although skinny-minnie Mad did manage to get herself in the swings, but needed help to get back out. The statues were cool, but we only stayed a little bit because there wasn't much to do.
I love going to parks. It's one of my favorite things to do. I take the kids to parks at least once a week. I thought it would be a fun goal for me and the kids to try to visit every park in Denver. According to the Parks and Rec website there are over 200. Our plan is to go to every single one- tiny neighborhood parks and the larger city parks- and then rate them based on what we like in a park. It will give us an excuse to explore Denver and get some exercise.
