This park says it's "Unnamed" on the Denver Parks and Rec site, so maybe they just named it after the streets it's on. This is a terrible little park. I guess it would be an okay neighborhood park, but even if I lived here, there's not much I like about it. It does have a playground. Across the street there's a little walking lap trail. I guess it's not the worst and it's nice they have a park here. But, eh. None of us liked it here and we'd never go back. And as you can see by the one picture, the little stream was totally filthy, filled with trash, and smelled bad.
I love going to parks. It's one of my favorite things to do. I take the kids to parks at least once a week. I thought it would be a fun goal for me and the kids to try to visit every park in Denver. According to the Parks and Rec website there are over 200. Our plan is to go to every single one- tiny neighborhood parks and the larger city parks- and then rate them based on what we like in a park. It will give us an excuse to explore Denver and get some exercise.
